Lokomotiv is a Moscow football club, part of the Russian Premier League with a century-old history.
GOAL:
• Develop a navigation system for the Russian Railway hotel at Bakovka UTB.
EXECUTION:
Based on the engineering scheme of the facility provided by the customer (4 floors), we started structuring and segmenting, dividing the rooms into residential, technical and staff rooms. This made it possible to determine how many plates would be needed and what meaning each would carry.
The next step was the development of a system of indicators for the convenience of determining the location and direction of movement. Coming up with a design concept, our team focused on the status of the club, its history and traditions. We emphasised the solidity and rigour of Lokomotiv through modern minimalism. Deep green - the hallmark of the club - fits perfectly into the bright interior of the hotel corridors.
120 information plates were created and installed. A colourful graffiti with the club's emblem was applied inside the hotel, and information was added on the outside of the building about the direction of the exit to the field and the way to the pool.
In addition to the pointer system itself, we have developed powerful LED signs that are clearly visible at night. One of the facade signs with the inscription "FC Lokomotiv" 6.3 m long was placed above the entrance to the hotel, and two more, with the logo of the football team, on the gym building.
The reception is located on the first floor of the hotel. Paying attention to detail, we have taken care of key rings and numbers for the key holder for the convenience of staff and residents. Keeping the general concept developed for the company, our designers came up with tasteful and stylish pendant cards.
